Super 7 Bikes and The Sober Parrot

Mike & Matt are two cycling enthusiasts who have been riding bikes forever around Cheltenham, the Cotswolds, the Forest of Dean and further afield. BMXs, mountain, road, and gravel bikes - life just seems a happier place on two wheels. From Sunday-ride therapy to commuting made fun, from racing for village signs to overnighting in the wild. Bikes have made our friendship. But our garages have become full. Velominati Rule 12 [the correct number of bikes to own is N+1, where N is the number of bikes already owned] is close to causing marital discord [rule 12 is also S-1, where S is the number of bikes owned that would result in separation from your partner]. We need somewhere to hide!Years of talking and dreaming about what we should do with our hobby has led to us opening Super7Bikes.

We want to provide a hub for local cyclists. A great place to meet for rides and to chat all things bikes (with coffee and cake from the Sober Parrot Cafe downstairs). See the indepedent review from Cake Rider:

We have shop rides to suit all types with information on where to ride off-road, or how to avoid the worst of the traffic on your road loops.

We aim to provide carefully selected products for our customers to suit a variety of needs but trying to avoid an overwhelming sea of bikes and kit. Focusing on road and gravel disciplines, we have some really exciting brands in store. Whilst off-the-shelf bikes suit many, we love to help create fully customised builds to give you something unique, with our fully functioning workshop providing repairs and builds, all run by friendly and approachable staff.

We hope you like what we're doing and look forward to seeing you in the shop.

The Sober Parrot

We are lucky to share our building with this 'not-for-profit', charity run café which is owned and operated by The Nelson Trust, a charity that works with people who are affected by addiction and those who have experienced multiple disadvantages. This family and pet-friendly cafe enjoys an enclosed terrace with space to secure your bike when you visit.
